Now That’s a Drop

National Geographic teamed up with skier Griffin Post for a magnificent drop. Post and crew started at 2 a.m. on what will become a 7 hour ascent to the exposed summit of the middle Teton, in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming.

Post starts his way down at the 12,804 ft summit down towards a no fall zone, then down 2,500 feet to the drainage below. Making that 7 hour trip up, back down in less than a minute. This descent is a great feat and show of atheletism that comes with big mountain skiing.

This really is just a beauty to watch. Well done Nat Geo. Well done.
