Yup, Already. Top 5 Ski Movie Trailers 2010-2011

Yeah, I know, it’s still July. And to most that means its right in the heart of summer. If you live in the PNW your whole two months of summer finally started. But to the snow starved the winter season is always right around the corner. Ski and Snowb

oard companies are already

starting to show off the latest product to the public and a few have already started shipping out the 2011 goods to shops. (we already have K2 and Ride boards on the wall!)

In all my ignorance, the plan for the summer was to ditch the snow bug by drowning it waterski sets and days on the lake. And it was starting to work as I got into the warm weather swing of things. That was until the usual suspects decided to release all of next years snow flick teasers and screw it all up. So you can call it spreading the stoke or just sharing the frustration as it is still July, but here is a little teaser / trailer round up for you. Just because it is only July doesn’t mean you can’t think snow. After all the Ski Loveland’s “Countdown To Snowmaking is under 2 months”.

The first three is from the big dogs. The ones that you see every year and just seem to get better and better. The last two are of the smaller verity but equally as impressive. “Out Of The Shadows” includes big lines in BC yet when I scrolled through the cast I could not seem to recognize more than two names, way cool.

Along with these 5, be sure to keep an eye out for new films from Warren Miller and Poor Boyz as their teasers are not out yet but I’m sure just around the bend.

1# Matchstick Productions “The Way I See It”

#2 TGR’s “Light The Wick”

#3 Level 1 Productions

The Last 2 are some smaller films that you won’t want to miss this fall.

Chris Davenport’s “Australis: An Antarctic Ski Odyssey”

And last but not least -

Dendrite Studios “Out of the Shadows”
